Isabella Shaw Eventing

Good day!

 

My name is Isabella May Shaw, and I am currently 16 years old. I am an event rider based in the North West of England who is competing in BE90 and BE100u18 classes as of 2016. I also compete locally in Show Jumping and Dressage competitions as well as as competing in Working Hunter classes occasionally.

 

I have owned my main eventing pony, Only Sometimes (Leo) for near five years now. I am also in my fifth year of membership at the East Cheshire Pony Club. If you're interested in learning more about how I have come to where I am now, please don't hesitate to read the brief history page.

 

I am a focused, ambitious and dedicated young rider with two horses for eventing in the upcoming season. Merry Dhalia will be competing in BE5YO classes next year, and I am aiming at preparing her properly for the many seasons ahead. Concurrently I plan to compete with Leo in the BE100u18 classes, and perhaps BE100+ or Novice classes towards the end of next year. I am also preparing Tranquil Soldier for competing in BE competitions during the 2017 season.

 

During 2015 I competed at 90cm and 1m, and entered 8 One Day Events where I boosted my rankings from near the bottom to the upper section of the scoreboard showing obvious improvement in dressage and maintaining a spotless cross country record. I always am willing to learn and work for further improvements in the upcoming season.

 

When I'm not with the horses, I enjoy playing musical instruments and games.
